I began my professional journey as a generalist social worker at Brigham Young University–Idaho, where I earned my Bachelor of Social Work. Following graduation, I returned to my roots in Alaska and worked as a paraprofessional, later completing specialized training to provide both group and individual counseling as a Chemical Dependency Counselor.

I went on to earn my Master of Social Work from the University of Alaska Anchorage and subsequently served as a Mental Health Counselor in rural Alaska. In 2020, I relocated to Idaho Falls. Since then, I have gained extensive experience across a range of mental health settings, including acute care, hospital social work, and outpatient mental health counseling.

I have provided individual services in person and via telehealth. With over ten years of combined bachelor’s- and master’s-level experience, I bring a broad and well-rounded foundation of knowledge and clinical practice to the field of social work.

I am currently only providing care through telehealth with in-person appointments COMING SOON!

Please reach out and let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to meeting you!

Rose influenced my journey into this profession, and her example guides my approach to counseling. Wild Rose Mental Health is guided and inspired by Rose's compassion, her wild adventurous spirit, and her support and loving nature that ensured everyone felt and believed in their own self-worth.
